How it works

• Put the number of drawings you have, and the number of copies you'd like, and add to basket
• Delivery is £8 +VAT (£9.60) on a next working day service. 
• You'll be able to upload your PDFs and write instructions after checkout

We don't print anything automatically. We usually print plans at their PDF page size. It's not a problem if you would like us to enlarge or reduce them though. We'll check every drawing before printing, and contact you if we don't understand something. If you've ordered something incorrectly we'll refund you. 

Not sure of your drawing size? It's often written in the bottom corner, near the drawing title. The best way to check is in Adobe Reader (go to File, Properties, then Description. The paper size should be displayed below.) 

You can also email us your files first if you prefer, and we'll count them up and reply with a quote and payment link. If you have too many files for an email, you can also use our wetransfer page.

File Types

• Prices are based on printing from PDF only
• If you have DWG / DXF files, these cost more and take an extra day to print. They can change when opened on different computers, so it's much better to have them saved as PDFs. Please email us for a custom quote. 

Specifications

• • 80gsm Paper: Printed on white 80gsm paper and machine folded to A4.
  • Plastic Paper: Matt white synthetic paper. Tearproof and waterproof, yet thin like paper. Can be written on, but drywipe markers don't wipe off. 
  • Laminated: Printed on 80gsm paper and gloss encapsulated (laminated both sides). Tearproof and waterproof, thicker and stronger than plastic paper. Can be written on with permanent markers or drywipe markers.
  • Black & White prints are printed in greyscale. Please note that blues, greens and yellows will print out as light grey and may be hard to distiguish. 
  • Lines / Text / Light Shading refers to the majority of architectural, engineering, and construction plans, which are mostly lines with a 5% ink coverage. 
  • Graphics / Images / Solid Areas refers to drawings with higher ink coverage, such as 3D renderings, satellite maps, or photos. These are printed slower at a higher quality.
  • Please note that plans are not photo quality, for high quality prints please order posters.

Turnaround time

• Paper plans: Most orders are printed and dispatched same day. 1pm is our typical cut-off time for same day dispatch, but this can be later depending on our workload. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday. 
• Plastic paper and laminated plans take 1 working day to turn around
• Delivery is next working day by DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and offshore islands may take longer.  
• If you require a same day delivery (Greater London and nearby only), please email us with your requirements and address and we'll get back to you straight away. The cost is typically the same price as a taxi.

We collate drawings in order according to drawing number and folder name. For more complex orders we can print tenders for projects, or mechanical / electrical operation and maintenance manuals.
