We don't print anything automatically. We usually print plans at their PDF page size. It's not a problem if you would like us to enlarge or reduce them though. We'll check every drawing before printing, and contact you if we don't understand something. If you've ordered something incorrectly we'll refund you. 

Not sure of your drawing size? It's often written in the bottom corner, near the drawing title. The best way to check is in Adobe Reader (go to File, Properties, then Description. The paper size should be displayed below.)

File Types

• Prices are based on printing from PDF only
• If you have DWG / DXF files, these do cost more and take longer to print. They can change when opened on different computers, so it's much better to have them saved as PDFs. Please email us for a custom quote. 

Specifications

• Plastic Paper: Matt white synthetic 180mic paper. Tearproof and waterproof, yet thin like paper. Can be written on, but drywipe markers don't wipe off. 
• Laminated: Printed on 80gsm paper and gloss encapsulated (laminated both sides).  Can be written on with drywipe markers.
• Black & White prints are printed in greyscale. Please note that blues, greens and yellows will print out as light grey and may be hard to distiguish. 
• Lines / Text / Light Shading refers to the majority of architectural, engineering, and construction plans, which are mostly lines with a 5% ink coverage. 
• Graphics / Images / Solid Areas refers to drawings with higher ink coverage, such as 3D renderings, satellite maps, or photos. These are printed slower at a higher quality.
• Please note that plans are not photo quality, for high quality prints please order posters.
