We print on a substantial 350gsm silk card, providing a smooth, high-quality finish that allows for rapid production.
We personally check every file and send a PDF proof before printing, ensuring no mistakes happen when you are in a rush.
If you don't need these immediately, we recommend our Premium Laminated Business Cards. They are thicker (450gsm) and more durable, with a turnaround of 4-5 working days.
How it works
We'll need to have a file that is ready to print (see specifications in the next tab).
To place an order, simply select the options you'd like, pay online, and you'll be prompted to upload your design.
We don't print anything automatically. We'll check your order, make sure we understand it, and email you a PDF proof for you to approve first. This will shows the final layout as it would print, and allows you to check for any mistakes.
Once you approve your PDF proof, we'll get started and email you once they're done.
File Types
- Business Cards Measure 85mm x 55mm
- Our ideal file type is a PDF saved with 'press quality' settings, set up with cropmarks and 3mm bleed. We have an artwork guide that shows how to save this from Adobe Software and Canva.
- Please keep all text at least 4mm away from the edge of the design. It's best not to use a font size smaller than 8.
- We can accept JPEG, TIFF, Microsoft Word / Powerpoint / Publisher.
Remember, we don't print anything automatically and we will always check your file and email you a PDF proof first before we start.
If you don't have a design:
- Canva is the quickest and easiest way to make a design, with thousands of free templates. Please download a 'PDF for print' with cropmarks and not flattenned, for the best results.
- We can design your card if you select the option. Simply tell us your requirements, with any text, logos and details that you would like included, and we'll make up a custom design and send you a PDF proof to approve. Please note that our design service takes a minimum of 1 working day extra.
Specifications
- Printed full colour, edge to edge, on 350gsm card
- Silk coated card is smooth with a slight finish for it, and is the best choice for excellent print quality
- Uncoated card has a plain paper finish to it. It feels softer and is suited to white business cards, as solid backgrounds don't print so well.
Turnaround
- We can produce most orders same day if you approve your proof by 12pm.
- Larger orders 2000+ may take longer.
