Need Help with Design?
If you have your own file ready (PDF or Word), simply order online, upload it when prompted and we will handle the rest.
If you aren't a designer, don't worry. Our team can create a professional layout for you for a small fee.
How it works
To place an order, simply select the options you'd like, pay online, and you'll be prompted to upload your design file (see next tab for details).
The "number of pages" refers to the number of A5 'sides' in the finished booklet.
Please note that if you only have 4 pages, this will print as a single sheet of folded card only.
We don't print anything automatically. We'll check everything, and email you a PDF proof for you to approve before we start. This shows the final layout as it would print, and allows you to check for any mistakes.
Once you approve your PDF proof, we'll get started and email you once we've dispatched your order. The turnaround is 2-3 working days.
If you're not sure about something, feel free to email your file directly to us, and we'll get back to you with a quote and PDF proof.
File Types
We need a ready-to-print file in simple A4 or A5 pages in reading order. We recommend using a minimum of font size 12. A Word Document is perfectly fine, though PDFs are better.
Please don't try to lay it out as a booklet (ie: putting 2 pages on 1 sheet), as we will do all the 'booklet making' on our end.
This means that if you want an 8-page booklet, your Word document should have 8 pages. The number of pages must always be divisible by 4, so a 6-page document would need 2 blanks to make 8.

If you would like us to design your booklet (or even just the cover using one of the examples above), we can do so for an additional £10 per page. Please email us with your requirements.
Specifications
- Coated Silk card is smooth and white, with a slight shine to it. It's the most popular choice for printing, and the quality is excellent.
- Uncoated card is a bond paper, with a plain natural 'paper' finish. It has more of a texture compared to silk, and is good for writing on.
- 350gsm is our best card and suited to wedding invitations, special events, birthdays and menus
- 250gsm is a good compromise between price and thickness
- 170gsm is our most popular choice for children's parties
- All our paper is FSC-certified, from mixed and renewable resources.
- All cards are printed in full colour and at excellent quality. The prices are the same even if your design is black & white only.
- Envelopes are 120gsm white peel & seal.
File Types
- Our ideal file type is a PDF saved with 'press quality' settings, set up with cropmarks and 3mm bleed. We have an artwork guide that shows how to save this from Adobe Software and Canva.
- Please keep all text at least 4mm away from the edge of the design. It's best not to use a font size smaller than 8.
- We can accept JPEG, TIFF, Microsoft Word / Powerpoint / Publisher.
- If you don't have a design, Canva is the quickest and easiest way to make something on your phone, and you can download a PDF to send us.
- We'll always check your file send you a PDF proof to approve before printing.
Turnaround time
- Our standard printing turnaround time is 2-3 working days. If the service is sooner, please let us know and we will prioritise your order. If you are able to collect, we could even have it ready the same day.
